This award-winning documentary was made as a TV program based on Director Nobutomo’s incredible life experiences—10 years prior to her latest hit documentary, I Go Gaga, My Dear. After graduating from University of Tokyo, Naoko Nobutomo became a documentary director at a TV station in Tokyo and worked on various notable projects and programs. At the age of 45, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she proceeded to document her life: depicting the long battle and the niceties of the human spirit.
