\nNEW PEOPLE, located in historical Japantown in San Francisco, consists of a movie theater, fashion and beauty retailers, and event spaces. Since its grand-opening in 2009, NEW PEOPLE has presented the latest Japanese contents including film, fashion, music, game\/IT and much more. In 2013, Japan Film Festival of San Francisco launched at the NEW PEOPLE Cinema as the first and only Japanese film festival in the Bay Area.
