This film is 22-year-old director Hiroshi Okuyama’s first feature-length film that was also written, shot, and edited by the director himself. Yura (Yura Sato) transfers to a rural elementary school from Tokyo in order to live with his grandmother. Though hesitant about the daily worship practices, he gradually adjusts. One day while praying, a tiny Jesus appears to him. He prays to make friends at school and immediately Kazuma (Riki Okuma) becomes his friend. This screening is proceeded by Director Hiroshi Okuyama’s short film Tokyo 21st October. (10min)
